Book a stay with us in Asheville and get hands-on ministry training and serve our communities.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Booking a trip is easy and convenient.
If you have any questions throughout the process, feel free to contact us.

STEP 1

Register your church or organization with the form below. If you are planning an individual/solo trip, we ask that you complete this registration as well. Please register your group no later than two weeks prior to your desired dates. The Group Coordinator must assign a Team Lead who has a pastoral or supervisor reference letter emailed to tholt@ashevilledreamcenter.org to be able to lead the team on your trip.
*AT THIS TIME, WE DO NOT HAVE AVAILABILITY TO HOUSE TEAMS SATURDAY NIGHTS OR SUNDAY NIGHTS*  
Upon completion, our Short Term Missions Team will connect within 3-5 business days. Your trip is not confirmed until a member of our team has contacted the Group Coordinator.

STEP 2

Our Short Term Missions Team will reach out to the Group Coordinator to confirm dates. Then, register your group of individuals under your organization using the link provided via email from our Team. We do ask for a fee of $50/person per day to cover meals, lodging, and a t-shirt for everyone. Complete payments online and prepare for your trip!

Serving Opportunities

These are some of the ministry opportunities you will be involved in when joining us for a Short Term Missions Trip.

Adopt-A-Block

Adopt-A-Block is the foundational ministry of the AVLDC. This consists of building relationships and meeting practical needs of families by delivering supplies.

Kid's Mentorship

Teams help give encouragement to children by hosting hangouts and activities that foster an environment of safety, learning, and fun!

Warehouse Operations

Warehouse teams will sort and organize supplies and help fill orders that have been placed by individuals in need.

Disaster Relief

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, teams work on distributing goods and  meeting practical needs to those affected . They also partner with families in the efforts to restore and rebuild their properties and homes.

Urban Street Outreach

This outreach involves walking through Downtown Asheville and handing out hygiene packs to those dealing with homelessness and offering encouragement to tourist and people out and about.

Love Our City Events

It takes many hands to make our Love Our City Events a success! These events include our Backpack Giveaway and Holiday Outreaches. Your team may be involved in the prep and day of volunteering for these events.

Baska Family Missions Team

The Baska Family spent a week with us serving Asheville! Audrey decided for her 13th birthday, instead of a party, she wanted her family to volunteer to help those affected by Hurricane Helene! They helped with warehouse operations, delivering supplies to those in need, and giving encouragement to families all across our city! Thank you!......

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an age requirement?
For Adopt-A-Block, Love Our City Events, Kids’ Mentorship, and Urban Street Outreach, there is no age requirement. For Warehouse Operations, the age requirement is 15 or older. For Hurricane Clean Up, the age requirement is 15 or older WITH THE PRESENCE OF THEIR GUARDIAN.
Will the Dream Center provide transportation?
Teams will have to bring or rent your own vehicle to transport team.
Can individuals come alone?
Yes. Individuals will just register the same as Group Registration and the Short Term Missions Team will reach out to coordinate with you. 
Is there a schedule of events?
Asheville Dream Center will build your schedule of events for the trip.
Is there a group size limit?
As of right now, we can only house groups up to 38 in size.
What time is check in?
Your group arrival time should be before 4pm on the first day of your trip. 
Can we stay for the weekend?
Missions Trips can be booked for  Monday through Saturday. We do not have availabilities for lodging Saturday Nights or Sundays due to church services happening in our housing location.
