Ezekiel's Story

Meet Ezekiel. Ezekiel and his wife just moved into their brand new home a little over a month before Hurricane Helene hit Swannanoa, NC. They have two beautiful, young kids and an adorable dog. The family woke the morning of the storm with water flowing into their home. Luckily they made it up a hill to a neighbors property. When the water receded and they could make it back to their home, they saw warped floors, missing siding, water logged furniture, and a water line of 3 feet inside. They lost everything inside. We have been working with our Short Term Missions teams to clear out flooring, insulation, sheet rock and other damages due to water being in their home. We are doing demolition work to prepare for the rebuild phase of this relief effort! We want to see Ezekiel’s home and others like it rebuilt and restored!
